The Key Benefits of Abolishing State Government:

• X The cost of having state government is thirty billion dollars. This money can be much better spent
• X One set of road laws and rules right across Australia
• X Requirements for business would be the same everywhere. Business houses would not have to set up different systems in each  state
• X Doctors, nurses and other professions would be able to work anywhere without having to become qualified in other states
• X Less elections with a simpler system to be more easily understood by voters
• X Elimination of buck passing between the different levels of government. The federal government would not be able to say “This is a state responsibility”
