The Abolish State Government Political Party has been formed to address the following issues:

• X To remove state government from our system of government
• X To bring about a simpler, more accountable government
• X To have a system with a national government and many local or community governments
• X To have a system of governance that is easy to understand
• X So the responsibilities of a government cannot be passed onto some other level of government
• X To provide a system where every Australian who has a right to vote, has an equal value of their vote
• X To provide a system where there are only one set of laws and rules, which are made by elected members from across the nation and where these elected members are held accountable for the making and implementation of these laws and rules

The Abolish State Government Party needs members to be able to register as a party, and also needs Australians to stand for election to parliament.
